8/23/11 – VOILA, it's THE SOUNDS LIKE BILL
On June 28, 2011 The Sounds like Bill released the debut single "Voilà"! The reception has been great and now with summer vacations are out of the way it is time for us to regroup and record the full length album. 6/2/11 – Introducing THE SOUNDS LIKE BILL
A lot of musical stuff going on at the moment and most of it is in preparation for an upcoming open house event in Charlotte NC. This invite-only event will set the stage for the debut of a new musical project, The Sounds like Bill!

The Sounds like Bill started with very humble roots - just a regular alt-funk-pop-rock dance-fusion band in the Greater Mecklenburg Area who dabbled in local coffee shop shows and the occasional Venezuelan soap opera theme song. Bound by a love for music and variably-printed direct marketing mailpieces, three men set out to create the best musical experience ever imagined. Enter Bill Nanny. Enter inspiration. The Sounds like Bill is a concept band based on the fantastically entertaining - assumedly accurate - life and times of Bill Nanny. A storyteller at heart, Bill speaks the songs into existence and The Sounds...they compose history.

Jeff Dill on bass, Ronald Garcia on keyboard, and Andy Loflin on guitar and vocals. Our debut performance is Friday, June 3, 2011. As if that wasn't exciting enough, we will also be joined by a few friends on stage. Maybe even Bill Nanny himself will make an appearance?!
