Whirlpool shows impressive growth from the original demos. The short six song EP was recorded and released right as the band was breaking up. Despite some tension, the songs written and recorded for the album came out well. The EP was actually cut one song short due to disapproval over the content of some lyrics from the song "Good-bye." Some of the better songs on the EP include "Stay" and "Cinderella." The track "I See Right Through You" also includes my then future wife Melissa Loflin on violin, a very special recording for me.
