Patio marks the point when Deem was actually becoming a band. Tripp Smith had bought a bass and was learning to play. During this time we started working on some demos that eventually ended up on the Patio tape. This is also around the same time we played our first ever live show at an open mic event in Clemson. The tape is billed as a single for a full demo titled "Fraggle Rock." This demo was never completed and some of the intended songs eventually ended up on Bob.
