Diary was my attempt at a double album, an extended experiment of sorts. The tape contains my first recordings on the piano as well as my first experiments with electronic music, however feeble it may have been. The track "Overpriced" was recorded with Ken Chastain on drums. "You And Me" was recorded with my brother, Matt Loflin, on drums. It is a very special recording to me. The opening track "Coffee" stands out to me as the best song on the whole demo. It's a very simple acoustic guitar and vocals track. The demo is a collection of recordings from throughout 1996 with a mejority of them being recorded in December of 1996.
